Hey @hangman_8289, if you didn't touch the prongs in the back, the easiest way to put the GPU back in I find is to angle the rear of the GPU down a bit (slight angle) and line it up against the metal cutouts where the DP port and HDMI ports will go, then when it lines up there, press down gently on the rear so it goes into the GPU slot with the rear pins first, then slide down the the rest of the GPU pins in the front, then push the front white clip back to the lock position. Remember not to force anything, it should slide in with minimal resistance.

Congrats! You should set up the HomeBase 3 first with the 1 Tb drive in the eufy app, then add the E340 to the HomeBase3 in the eufy app last.

Do you mean the wind is shaking trees or branches of a tree that is triggering the notifications? If so, one option would be to draw out a custom detection zone to avoid including any trees or branches.

Hey @christianng2828, do you have any preferences about the monitor, such as if it has a stand or if it uses the sleeve cover as a stand? The Sotsu monitor is the best one I've used so far based on the various layouts you can achieve with it. I have another monitor from MageDok, which I have to review in the next week or so, which looks promising with a touch screen, but the layout options are limited compared to the Sotsu monitor. I also just reviewed a 17.3" Gaming monitor here: ruclips.net/video/MzH_bQ3u2dA/видео.html which is mostly meant for gaming with the 144 Hz refresh rate, but maybe 17.3" is too large for travel purposes?

Hey @christianng2828, yea I think it's hard to top the Sotsu monitor. I probably won't have the Magedok video completed til another 1 to 2 weeks, but it already loses out to the Sotsu by not being able to adjust above the monitor natively. Btw, I just noticed that the Sotsu site has a new 14" flip monitor that is cheaper and can be purchased with the optional base/stand like with this 16" version, worth a look: www.sotsu.com/products/flipaction-go-14

Hey @jamesblois4891, you can definitely extend the cable if needed by buying a USB C extender off Amazon. I believe it's around 9 ft long though. I'll have to ask AOSU support if there's a cooldown time built in between recordings. Getting videos to a computer is easy because you can download video clips to your phone, then from there, you can email them to yourself, upload them to your Google drive or other cloud storage, then access it on your computer. I think the lights come on with any movement, even if you only set Human only in Motion Detection, but I can ask AOSU support about it too and get back to you. It should definitely charge well in Texas because I'm in Canada and it did pretty decent even in colder weather. Where I had it placed, we always have street lights on so it's hard to say how it'll perform in a mostly dark environment.

Yes, this is possible if you set a Routine with an "If" condition of "Mobile data" off Then "Wi-Fi On" : )

Try this instead, go to settings on your phone and tap of the magnifying glass/search icon and search for the word navigation or gesture and the option should come up. Which phone are you on btw?

Thank you for watching. Reolink definitely has the best ecosystem out of all the camera brands I've tested. The ability to install their software on my desktop and laptop is something I always miss not having when I use other brands.

I think they are still gearing these mostly towards office use, but they should realize there's a good amount of people who want mixed use monitors.

I forgot if the switch has to be active for the camera to be on actually, I don't remember having to flick it on after installation. Just remember to turn off the breaker before installing for safety.

You'll need internet at all times because it doesn't have any option for local storage. If you want an option that has local storage recording, let me know and I can recommend another camera, but with any camera you will need internet to access the recorded files later. Some cameras let you pop out the microSD card, but that means you'll have to get on a ladder to get access to the microSD card slot which will be cumbersome.

Hey there, yep these are solid cameras. They've survived harsh weather a couple of times already. WiFi is good, but it will always depend on how far your router/modem is from the cameras. If you will have any of the cameras really far from the modem or router, you will probably have to buy a WiFi extender to ensure a good connection.

This definitely gives the S340 serious competition. It also looks better imo. I guess the S340 is good if you want the dual lens setup, but if that isn't a need, this is a better option for sure. Thanks for watching : )

While I had it up, it stayed above 90% easily. The camera in my backyard was even better because it didn't have to record often, but the one in front of my house had to record tons of movement from passing cars, kids walking home from school, people walking their pets, etc. and the battery level was still good. The battery level will really depend on how much motion is going on in front of your house and how long you set the recordings to be. In Winter months when it's much colder and there's lots of overcast days, the battery level will drop so you'll just have to monitor battery levels to see if you need to plug in a USB cable to top them back up if the sun isn't out much. However, if you like somewhere with lots of sunny weather, you'll never have to worry. I had to take these cameras down to review other cameras, but my other AOSU cameras are all reliable. Zero issues with them, especially in thunderstorms and high winds.

What kind of issues did you have with yours? Mine still works fine and my friend's works fine too.

Hey @stevebusch1205, the cameras require WiFi and The Sync Module 2 to work. If you want to have a camera at your cottage, which doesn't have WiFi, you would have to use a 4G camera that can accept a SIM card, similar to how phone accepts a SIM card. Try this, long press on the Snapchat app icon, and tap the small "i" in the circle at the top right of the mini pop-up screen, then tap on Permissions and disable Location. If you need Location for Snapchat, go to Notifications instead of Permissions and tap on Notification categories and see if there is an option to disable notifications for Location, otherwise you might have to silent all notifications maybe. I don't use Snapchat so I'm not sure how what to change, maybe there is a setting in snapchat?

Eufy recommends placing the cameras away from the HomeBase 3 no more than 30 to 50 feet away. One of my cameras is about 12 feet away, and the other is around 23 feet away and they both pull up live view without timing out, so you'll be fine as long as you place the cameras within that 30 to 50 feet range. Before you permanently mount the cameras, I'd recommended pulling up the camera's live view in the Eufy App and checking how responsive it is to pulling up live view. I usually do this to ensure I have a good connection before drilling.

Nope, but this is probably your best chance of limiting or filtering out that noise, especially if you're able to close the door to your room and it's just ambient noise from the kids that it has to deal with.

It will be compatible with any phone via Bluetooth, but there is no dedicated app to install on your phone. I have it paired with my Samsung S24 Ultra, which is running Android like your Pixel and I can still use it to record and transcribe and summarize phone calls or any media playing from my phone like RUclips videos, etc. You can set the HiDock H1 to auto record all phone calls or you can disable that option too. If you wanted to transcribe specific audio like from a RUclips video or live stream or something, you can manually start recordings like you would for a meeting. You don't need to plug in an ethernet cable for it to have internet connectivity once it is connected to your laptop, so it uses the internet connection from your laptop (whether your laptop is connected by WiFi or ethernet cable). If you want, you can plug in the ethernet cable into the HiDock H1, connect the HiDock H1 to your laptop via USB C cable, and your laptop will get internet connectivity via the HiDock H1 if you turn off your laptop WiFi. Hope that all makes sense, but TL;DR, no you don't need to plug in an ethernet cable if your laptop has internet already.

When you go to the hinotes.hidock.com/ website and open an item, at the top right, you can click the three horizontal dots and export them to edit it. You can also click into the text to make basic changes like text changes.

Nope, it didn't affect the performance at all, but there is a setting in the eufy app to play with if you have it installed close to a wall that can reflect the IR light. I never had to use that setting though: support.eufy.com/s/article/Position-Your-Doorbell-Properly-1617357859027
